its not racist if it is a fact. bringing it to light does not mean you are hateful. and you could say the same of american MOBSTERS, who killed other mobsters not politicians. Regarding violent third-world-countries as backward and violent is a simple acknowledgement of the reality in these countries. The only racist part is MEXICO, the fact that 90% + of their population is brown is indicative of a very segregated country that does not allow for the social, ethnic, and cultural diversity that we have grown accustomed to here in this country. As our focus continues to be on the violence in the Middle East, it is also important to pay attention to what is going on just south of our own border in Mexico. The war between the Mexican government and drug cartels is still raging with the war's latest victim being female Mayor Maria Santos Gorrostieta, who was beaten, burned, tortured and dumped for dead on the side of the road. Before being killed, Gorrostieta had been attacked twice by cartels for daring to challenge them. The third attack they waged on her, was her last.
