The conservatives in the house just got removed from some of the budget commities they were in. I fear the republicans are a not so conservative of a group as i thought. This is obvious because of what was said and blamed when Romney lost. we odnt need to cut defense! That is reality, it has historically been 25% of our spending and it is currently less than that... The stuff that has been causing all the budget problems and money waste is was and has always been entitlement programs. Health care, medicare, welfare, social security, medicaid, education, ect... No one is arguing that they all be deleted, just put under a budget that does not create any more taxes than the current level, pre-cliff, which would take drastic cuts to them.
