Statistics suggest that twice as many people die in auto accidents in the U.S. each year than people who are murdered (from all forms; i.e. guns, knives, etc.). Not ALL victims of gun violence die at the hands of some deranged, mentally unbalanced individual. Much of the violence is drug-related or crime-related. Many politicians regularly try to create new "victims"; bullies, gays, women, lesbians, minorities, the poor, people who are behind on their mortgages, etc. Politicians intentionally try to develop new voting blocks and play to them. Does anyone think that some in these "victim" groups might develop a "get even" attitude?

Ban the automobile Or better yet CONFISCATE them all and mandate PUBLIC transportation...or smart cars that barely get out of their own way and LIMIT how far you can travel from your home. Then institute a program of issuing TRAVEL passes. These clowns are now in the process of so tightening the electroinic monitoring and tracking systems in this country there will never be a need to build another Berlin Wall or Iron Curtain ELECTRONICS will take care of all that. Sleep you dumbed down clowns sleeeeeeeeep.....

Conform or else...Oh wait that is what public education was designed for.....and ifn one doesn't conform...well there are always drugs and then the not so popular possible return to 'RE-EDUCATION camps or mandated court ordered counseling sessions until one is so certified?

Here We Go: Diane Feinstein to Introduce Legislation to Ban Semi-Automatic Weapons

When Congress is back in session in January, California Democrat Diane Feinstein plans to introduce legislation to ban the import, export, manufacturing, sale and transfer of what she calls "assault weapons." Feinstein didn't get into specific detail about what weapons would be affected, after all the term "assault" is a political one and the proper name for the guns Feinstein is trying to ban is "semi-automatic," which can include both handguns and rifles. Feinstein told NBC's David Gregory yesterday that ammunition clips holding more than 10 bullets would be banned should her bill become law.
