Why the Bell-Obama Connection Matters

Thank you Steve. The only reason I have read through all of these offensive comments was to find if there might be a voice of logic and reason among them. I won't even make a direct comment to the article myself because of the masochistic absurdity of trying to reason with this throng of the deluded blinded by their knee jerk bigotry and racism. Straw man arguments run rampant through their minds and out of their sad and bitter mouths. For example: You mention that Derrick Bell was "trying to enforce integration laws in the deep South, at considerable personal risk, while conservative heroes Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan opposed major civil rights legislation."

The verdict is in: The mainstream media believes that Derrick Bell is not a story. They believe it so deeply that they've had members of the team on national television repeatedly; they've spent thousands of words covering it; and they've mentioned it on radio and the Internet incessantly. All to say that there's nothing to see here.

Unfortunately, for President Obama, there's something to see here.

Back when President Obama was a 28-year-old student at Harvard Law, he gave a speech in support of controversial racialist Professor Derrick Bell. The raw tape of that video was parceled out in bits and pieces...
