"Artificial delays, delays for delay's sake, has tainted too much of the Senate's work over the last few years." You mean like that health care bill that was rammed through a few years back- it was pretty much tainted with no delays. But at least now that it's passed we're finding out what's in it.

Remind me never to hire Kurt Schlichter as my lawyer- he'd probably make a deal with the prosecutor and not tell me about it.

You're absolutely correct- I guess none of the people who write this baloney go to the grocery store or buy gas. You also need to include the fact that all products are getting smaller- they take a half ounce here and an ounce there and while the fed might not admit it, this is inflation as well.

America's Big Fat Advantage

Unfortunately, the largest business in America is not based on exceptionalism- that would be the business of government. "Note that in all these cases, such exclusions derive from criteria other than innate talent, character and industriousness, and can result in the lesser qualified being considered the only qualified." That's our government today, and our future is being churned out by our government schools to ensure that everything is infected with the same disease sooner rather than later. I believe Ayn Rand wrote a book about this.

Excellent point. "... Romney did not articulate Obama's failures. He did enumerate those failures. The one time he approached those failures in the debates his ratings jump 6%... " The problem is that the 51%, most of whom have been educated in public schools, are not necessarily stupid people, they are just woefully ill informed. So what if we have Fox news and all the conservative commentators, few if any of the people we need to educate watch Fox or read anything. The RNC or some of the rich people who spend hundreds of millions on campaigns need to start running ads informing Dem voters about the truth- show them on Idol, the Kardashians, any show the 51% might watch and show them in swing states for the next 3 yrs. Start now.
We already know that over 50% of voters are morons, so this is no news.

Why isn't the GOP running ads with Obama saying these things- at least in all the swing states. We'll never have a comeback without at least trying to educate the middle about how the msm and administration lie through their teeth anytime they deem it necessary. Call Adelson- I think he's still got some money left.

Foundations don't spend their principal, they invest it and spend the profit- which has not been taxed. There are many conservatives who put their money into foundations as well- they should all be taxed, but I still contend it will be the liberals who squeal the loudest.
