Obama was expecting a much easier time in the debates. He was expecting to lie with impunity. He was expecting to be fully backed by a complacent (and complicit) media. He was ASTOUNDED when people were ready to call him on his lies. He was SHOCKED that even the media could not quell the unrest.

In the last decade, we've seen a phenomena whereby the average person now has a VOICE. The internet has fostered a new paradigm whereby both politicians and their media supporters get called out on their bias, their spin and their lies. This is confusing to liberals who were used to controlling the media, the spin, and the public mindset.

Now that we have a voice, we are making ourselves heard. We will NEVER AGAIN allow the media to be the arbiters of fact. We will make ourselves heard at every opportunity. We will shine a light on the liars, the thieves and the purveyors of false promises. We will speak with our voices and back our choices with our wallets. We will drive the cockroaches back to the shadows where they belong!
