Rape and Incest Abortion Coulter, like so many people, is affected by the moral insensitivity that the long term tolerance of abortion inflicts. So much so that it causes her to be confused and irrational when she compares a prenatal child to poison and to a rapist. She probably didn’t intend to. Her analogies refer to the principles that too much of a good thing is bad and that charity can be misplaced. However, human beings are not principles. And they are not dietary iron, furlough for criminals, or sugar in your coffee. They are persons with a natural right to life no matter the circumstances of their conception. Will anyone publicly challenge her on this subject?

I challenge you. If my wife told me that see had been raped, after e had left the police station and gone through the rigamorol that is after the mental torture, YES that FETUS would be Turminated like a cancerious sist!!

Ann agrees with you, she is talking about winning elections not her personal belief or position about abortion. You can't solve a problem from the outside. Therefore, you first have to start where the public position is and move toward life and constitution from there.

I hate to admit it but I totally agree with you. Let's cut way back on abortions then work on changing cultural attitutdes to the point that life is held to be sacred.

You can't affect the public when you have no core principles yourself. Annie places charisma above values.

Yes, I am as totally pro life as anyone. I say death penalty to the rapist and allow the innocent child of rape (if there is one) the chance to live. BUT, in the real world of politics as it is, we must give the rape victim the (ugh) "choice" at this point in time and only hope that some day we will hear more stories of the victim seeing the sonogram of the little innocent one sucking his or her thumb and love breaking through the hatred as the ultimate retribution against the evil of the rapist. We can only hope and pray.

We spent billions of dollars and billions of words on an election to switch from President Obama, a Democratic Senate and a Republican House to President Obama, a Democratic Senate and a Republican House.

Every election predictor was wrong, except one: Incumbents usually win.

Republicans have taken out a sitting president only once in the last century, and that was in 1980 when Ronald Reagan beat Jimmy Carter. Sadly, Reagan's record remains secure.

The Democrats ran up against the incumbency problem in 2004. The landslide election for Democrats in 2006 suggests that Americans were not thrilled with...
