I'm from Michigan too and feel your pain!
I'm not a fan of this rhetoric coming from the GOP. I don't care if Dems lose in the next election--I care that this health care takeover marks a significant blow to the Republic. I care more about the future of this country than a GOP majority in the next Congress. I wish the GOP would take this a little more seriously and recognize the historical implications of this vote and press Dems on that.

Everyone--please accept my apologies. Notorious is a word I have a habit of using just to say "well-known" and I forget its actual definition implies a negative connotation. Obviously I do not believe Lincoln's address was negative in any way, but simply meant to imply it's one of the most noted and well-known speeches in American history. My apologies all around--I have edited the post with a more appropriate word. Thank you for bringing this to my attention--I would've hated for the meaning to be misunderstood here.

Yes, we did update the site as new information became available. I'm glad you follow our site so closely! In fact, if you had read the full post, I wrote that NBC News had noted how this apparent incident follows DHS' new security guidelines for managing travelers from countries with ties to terrorists. Not that it mattered because this was a case of domestic travel and not international, I simply noted that if new, relaxed regulations even slightly allowed a threatening passenger aboard the plane, it would mean bad news for the Obama administration, specifically DHS. I did not try to accuse the Obama administration of anything, as you so claim... that is, unless you want to also accuse NBC of also making the same assertion. I...

just b/c they are no longer with us, doesn't mean we can't thank them.
I did not suggest that BP should not have to pay for the damage it's done. However, there's a difference between BP being compelled to offer assistance and clean-up funds, and the president arbitrarily forcing them to. Can you name a single constitutionally based justification for the escrow? I think it's wonderful that BP said almost immediately that they would cover the expenses. And if someone can prove that BP's negligence caused harm--financially or physically--then the courts would make sure that BP paid. But Obama confuses "leadership" with "action." People demand a leader who can corral the best ideas and best practices, not a politician who sidesteps the rules.

I'm not sure it's b/c he had to grow up without a father figure, or if it's because he spends his time hanging out with crazy "feminists".
I'm guessing you're referring the middle video that had Beck talking about Van Jones. I somehow accidentally posted the wrong video, but have since fixed the problem--all 3 videos are about the NEA call. Sorry about that!
