Top 5 TeaBag myths to debunk. MYTH #3: Occupiers should stop protesting and just get a job. REALITY: As anybody who's looked for a job in the last few years knows, there just aren't jobs out there. That's a big part of why occupiers are protesting. In September, there were four times as many unemployed people as job openings. And for those who are lucky enough to find a job, median wages today are lower than they were a decade ago. Thank you Republican controlled Congress these past two years.
Top 5 TeaBag myths to debunk. MYTH #4: Occupy Wall Street is intent on provoking violence, especially against banks and the police. REALITY: Occupations across the country have committed themselves to nonviolent protest, in the greatest traditions of protest movements. Some of their protests have been met with acts of police violence-tear gas, pepper spray, rubber bullets-but in many cases, protesters have reminded police that the police officers are part of the 99%, too. And in the few cases when people have shown up at Occupy demonstrations and committed acts of vandalism, other protesters have even repaired their acts of vandalism.
Top 5 TeaBag myths to debunk. MYTH #5: The biggest crisis facing our country is out of control government spending. REALITY: The two biggest drivers of our deficit-by far-are the economic crash and the Bush tax cuts. We have millions of people out of work, corporations hoarding cash, and factories sitting idle. If we put all those people back to work-rebuilding infrastructure, educating our children, and researching new technologies-it'll shrink the deficit and make our economy stronger for the long haul. And we can easily afford it if we make sure the rich-who are taking home a larger percentage of income than any time since 1917-pay their fair share.

Because the managers had locked the doors to the stairwells and exits - a common practice at the time to prevent pilferage and unauthorized breaks - many of the workers who could not escape the burning building jumped from the eighth, ninth, and tenth floors to the streets below. The fire led to legislation requiring improved factory safety standards. Safety standards are REGULATIONS. Is this the good ole days that the Republican party wants to return to?

Rick Santorum says, "One of Mitt Romney's greatest accomplishments, one of the things he talks about most is how he heroically showed up on the scene and bailed out and resolved the problems of the Salt Lake City Olympic Games. He heroically bailed out the Salt Lake City Olympic Games by heroically going to Congress and asking them for tens of millions of dollars to bail out the Salt Lake games - in an earmark, in an earmark for the Salt Lake Olympic games." What is so unique about this? It's just another Republican going for his government "teat suck" when it suits his needs. Happens all the time.
and yes, Saddam did have WMD in the 1980's, and used them, when Ronald Wilson Reagan game them the green light to use them on his own citizens.
It's a shame that many of my fellow conservatives take glee in the fact that 2,000 Americans have now made the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan. It's too bad they have forgotten that AFGHANISTAN is where AL-QAEDA attacked the USA from on 9-11 and were given sanctuary by the Taliban. These dupes of Republican party propaganda still believe that Saddam had something to do with 9-11 or they still, mistakenly believe, that Saddam had WMD in the year 2003.
