Thanks for telling us there is nothing we can do about this! Chump! Voter fraud needs to be at the top of every citizens' agenda. We cannot get the federal gov to fix it because we can't trust them. But each state needs to clean up its own election fraud. Governors need to take this seriously as well as each citizen. What happened this year is a disgrace with pole watchers being pushed out and replaced by black panthers...etc...and people showing up to vote being told that they already did. That means someone else got there first and stole their vote! Get mad as Hell, and don't let this happen again! Voter I.D. all the way!

Broad trends and the national political undertow can't be adequately captured in any single statistic -- but if Mitt Romney had managed to push the electorate in a handful of states a few clicks in his direction, he'd be the president-elect, rather than an also-ran.  Via Jim Geragthy:
 

Florida: 73,858

Ohio: 103,481

Virginia: 115,910

Colorado: 113,099

Those four states, with a collective margin of, 406,348 for Obama, add up to 69 electoral votes. Had Romney won 407,000 or so additional votes in the right proportion in those states, he would have 275...
