Democrats are blessed with the following advantages: The end justifies the means, so a lie is OK if not expected. Never look ahead. Never anticipate or concede that opposition to an imposed tax increase or law can be circumvented or overcome. NEVER THINK BEYOND YOUR GOOD IDEA. Never look back to see if a GOOD IDEA is actually working to accomplish its intended end. If it fails, add more of the same, i.e., more taxes, more restrictions etc. And for OBAMA Take credit for any positive outcome, and find someone/something to blame for your failures.

President Obama presented himself to the nation in 2008 as something new -- a change agent who would bring fresh ideas to our national challenges and solve problems in a post-partisan, unifying fashion.

In fact, as some noted at the time, his ideas were decrepit hand-me-downs, about as novel as disco or the leisure suit.
