If we stop eating meat and domesticating dogs and cats, who's going to stop the animal over-population as they breed themselves silly as they are left on their own?

Most hunters/farmers/conservationists will tell you that over population of species leads to diseases and starvation. Consumption leads to control and healthier animal populations.

This is NOT a healthcare bill coming out of either house. It's a pork-filled, power-grabbing, tax bill, plain and simple.

It does NOT fix any health care related problems. It will create far more problems than what were there already. Most of those problems with health care were congress created anyway.

I can get into my car, at this point, and not need to face a gauntlet of annoying gov't workers.

There's an element of risk involved in everything we do. My point is that we need to do what is optimal to lower the risk to acceptable levels. That includes personal choices that I/we make every day.

I just want my choices to be informed and the risks known. I don't like the feel-good rituals that do nothing except make the terrorists laugh at us while they work with the full body x-ray machines to see how they can circumvent those.

gov't should do this. Politics and gov't should be removed from the process and private companies should be in charge. I was against the gov't forming homeland security and TSA for the very reason that whatever the gov't tries to manage they mess up.

but, that means we just need to train percentage-wise, that many more people who would work our airports. TSA found people to man the security systems that are questionable, at best. Given American ingenuity, we CAN get the job done. We just need to get the politics out of the way.

you're a muslim-looking, however, the Israelis have successfully had a program in place in which all people are talked to by professionally trained people. They look for certain characteristics of people who would then need more scrutiny.

My other point is that we, as Americans, are being targeted because we are being seen as the great satan. Hurt feelings seem a little trifle compared to dead people. They started the bombings and terrorist attacks, then send cair and other organizations after us, because we dare to question and/or fight back.
