I used to be in love with a beautiful stump-broke mare, but she got old and died. Broke mah heart. By the way, stump broke means she was trained to back right up the stump for us to stand on so everything would be on the level. The boys from Brokeback Mountain would unnerstand that one inna minute.
Maybe it's time to go underground...

Being a left-handed maie, almost everything is right handed for me - doorknobs, telephones with cords, most tools other than hammers, etc. I have discovered to my delight that pencils and girls don't require one to be right handed. Baraq and I don't share Sharia, though.

The Obama scheme has no provision for tort reform. Should John Edwards continue to sue obstetricians for not doing a C-Section on every pregnancy? Channeling dead babies. Shame!

There is no provision in the scheme to build more medical schools and nursing schools? Adding 40 million more people. Really?

Finally, Congress will exempt themselves from any "public" program and keep their very expensive private care. Why is that?

If you think costs will go down, take an economics class, but not from Che University.

I own two clunkers. Both don't qualify as they get 18 mpg according to Obama's new milage measurements. The only people who are going to make out on this one are the same folks who sell imaginary adult diapers and treatments to Medicare. Most of those folks are immigrants from eastern europe who are used to working within communist regimes.

I wonder if our Dear Leader is circumcised? If not, I'll be glad to do the job for him with my rusty filet knife or if he would prefer, with a pair of pinking shears. (He would be more of a frilly-dilly than he is already.)

I cannot comment on Auction Rate Securities beyond saying they are an esoteric product.

I can tell you for sure that I invested in the Schwab Yield Plus bond fund which was presented as an Ultra Short Term (less than a year) low duration (volatility) alternative to money market funds. It turned out to be stuffed with collateralized junk mortgage crap. Asset value went from over $10./share to less than half in practically no time flat. A whole lot of people lost a whole lot of money on this nightmare. Total assets went from over 13 billion to practically zippo when folks figured out the discrepancy between Schwab's presentation and reality. When I "Talk to Chuck" he doesn't hear me. That was retirement money for most of the...
