Does anybody really believe the Democrats voting today for Rick Santorum in Michigan really believe in him? He is the Republican candidate Democrats would least want, especially those Dems inspired to cross over by the far-far-far left kooky Daily Kos. Just another opportunity to screw up our primary process and give us another candidate who would be blown out in the general election (i.e., like John McCain was in 2008). That the Daily Kos is for Santorum, and obviously against Mitt Romney, makes me even more inclined to vote for Romney when the primary moves to California.

We need a completed, double-layer border fence from California to Texas, as well as 25,00 border patrol agents backed up by 100,000 soldiers. Of course, the agents and troops would be given the green light to forcefully engage any threat. So, why are 60,000 American soldiers in Germany when they are needed to protect our southern border? If the government wanted to, we could solve this illegal immigrant problem in a year. We could seal the border and then use E-Verify to dry up jobs for illegals. It's disgusting that we keep paying our hard-earned tax dollars to a government that refuses to do its most basic job -- protecting the country from a foreign invasion.

As a resident of the largely conservative San Joaquin Valley, which has fallen prey to the lunatic Democrats' love of the delta smelt, I wish that we could secede from California and form our own state (from Bakersfield or at least Stockton and maybe higher). We are simply outnumbered by the coastal liberals in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. They keep voting in the big spenders and the amnesty lovers. And we have no choice but to put up with it. Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, Pete Stark, George Miller, Zoe Lofgren, Sam Farr, Maxine Waters, Xavier Beccera ... please!!! Oh, and don't forget Jerry Brown. A real who's who of losers out there.

California overwhelming passed Proposition 187 back in 1994 -- the so-called State Our State Initiative. It would've made the state a very unwelcome place for illegals immigrants. However, then-Gov. Gray Davis, special interest groups and a loopy judge from San Francisco defied the will of the people. When 187 was struck down by that liberal judge, that was the beginning of the end of our once-proud state. Think of all the billions and billions of dollars that have been wasted on illegals since then. With all of those dollars back, we probably would not have a deficit right now.

Yeah, liberals may see conservatives as stupid. But we conservatives see liberals as lacking in common sense, screwed up in the head or in a drug-induced purple haze from the 1960s. Or, all of the above. So, what's the difference?

Since the rest of the world obviously believes Barack Obama is so cool and such a good leader, I feel America must not be greedy and keep this big thinker all to ourselves. It is time for us to give Obama to the world. Then, maybe we can elect a real president.

John "Mr. Amnesty" McCain could not have done it without all of those braindead Arizona voters, many of whom have obviously forgetten that he is a huge reason why the border was not secured a long time ago. I am sure LaRaza is doing high-fives.

Agreed. I cannot figure out how America can end up with the likes of Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi running the show. All delusional, all the time. I have four theories: 1) People are lazy and cannot be bothered when it comes to following politics (that is how Mr. Hope/Change can slip by and into the White House); 2) much of the news media is flat-out corrupt; 3) many millions of people cannot be bothered to get off the couch on election day; and 3) ACORN and illegals are defrauding the voting process because Democrats have purposely made it easy to do that.

Conservatives also fear having delusional people (i.e. liberals/progressives) running the show. It's like having mental patients running the asylum. Not a good feeling, right? These nutty liberal elites need to be voted out -- and kept out!
