What is dangerous about Asner and others in Hollywood is the amount of money they control and the amount of influence they have by their presence at White House functions. Entertainment Tonight, Extra, and Entertainment TV have taken star worship to a whole new level. It gives uneducated movie and TV stars huge influence among citizens who don't watch the news, don't read newspapers, don't discuss politics, and get their information from the Comedy channel.

The Obama administration and its allies are so eager to portray tax hikes on the rich as the solution to all our problems that they desperately desire to persuade the public that tax cuts for the rich caused all those problems in the first place.
