Thousand of years ago, a prince with a bright idea gathered up all of his gold and loaded it up onto a caravan of camels and road from one end of his land to another, giving the gold to the people. Who, then, for ten years after produced nothing while they traded all their gold to the neighboring land which was ruled by a prince who did no such thing, but let his people produce.

Some Dems never learn. House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer recently pushed the tired argument that federal handouts are a great way of stimulating the economy. Via CNSNews:
