Today's Headline: "Tea Parties to Protest IRS Offices Across the Country Tuesday" Tomorrow's Headline: Four Thousand New IRS Audits Ordered on Tea Party Members."

Has anyone heard? Has the White House somehow found out how they can link this to Bush?

Notice what is happening. The official Dem party line is now that the emails don't say what we know they say. We will hear, over and over the the next few weeks, that the emails back up the President and back up Hilary Clinton.

And while Bob Schieffer and CBS airs this material, the question is .... Where were Bob and CBS the past four years?

As the "boss" of the government, President Obama should know what is going on. When Obama claims he heard about this on the news, we are left with only two possibilities: 1. He's incompetent, or 2. He's lying. There is no other possibility.

And guess what? Obama's personal popularity is still above 53%. We could have video of Obama personally firing a drone missile to kill Ambassador Stevens, and video of Obama personally instructing the IRS to go after conservatives, and video of Obama personally reading journalist's phone tapped records, and his followers wouldn't care. As long as they get their free iPhones they don't care.

Based on how things have happened in the last 4 fours, the answer seems clear.

One problem is that many of today's "journalists" see their job as supporting social change rather than reporting news.

I know it's been said before, but what if? Six years ago, after a complaint by MoveOn.org, it was found that the IRS was targeting (there's that word again) liberal groups. I'm sure the country and the news media would patiently be waiting until the investigation was completed before criticizing President Bush.

Now isn't that nice? Let's change the topic. Remember the Soviet Union's modus operandi? When there wasn't enough to eat, and the electricity wouldn't work, and paychecks were worthless, it was time for another grand rally. Continue to tell people how good things are. Continue to show with charts and pictures that people are so much better off now. You don't want Farmer Jones back, do you?

I, too, am amazed at how little many Americans care about what the IRS has done.
