Donjindra, You wrote, "Come on. Grow thicker skin. People around here belittle liberals, atheists, Muslims, women, Democrats, progressives, etc. "Conservatives" can certainly dish it out. Yet you expect me to sit on my hands?" Sit on your hands? No one is saying that. Again, it's interesting that you now have over 70 posts on this topic. What's more, Giles writes columns every week referring to the Bible. On Townhall, over the past two days, there have been over 55 articles and topics. Yet your comments (as of 20 minutes ago) are all on the two articles that refer to Christians.

I've been posting on TH for years. Probably 80% deal with religious or moral issues. Why would you think this is strange? I happen to think these are fundamental issues.

I think it's strange because whenever i've dealt in the past with someone who singlemindedly belittles religious beliefs of others, it signals some kind of insecurity or anger about the issue.

I don't belittle Christians in general. If I sometimes come across that way it's because I'm in a hurry. I do take aim at a certain kind of Christian -- a political Christian such as Giles, or one that takes aim at my beliefs. And even then I try to stick to ideas, not personalities.

But I won't apologize for going after the personality of Giles who makes such a big deal out of personality.

According to CBS, St. Louis, Pastor Rodney Francis, of the Washington Tabernacle Baptist Church, wants to keep kiddos away from guns, so this summer his church is planning a “toy gun buy back” program. How quaint. I kid you not: A. Toy. Gun. Buy. Back. Sounds like he’s setting up the next generation to be victimized slaves to bad people and policies.

Yep, Reverend Rodney “feels” he needs to do “everything (he) can to not allow our kids to get exposed to (guns) too early.” Aww ... ain’t that sweet? Hey, maybe he could also hand out during that...
