Dependency, Not Poverty

Likely, by empowering, get a job, their parents. It's not the job of the government to raise or be responsible for children that's the parents job. Yes, there are orphans and such, they're for churches and private charities.
Essentially correct, it's called impeachment.

Orthodox liberal/progressive bigotry again rears its ugly face in a supposed bastion of free exchange of ideas.
Calling the TEA party 'medieval' is an obvious case of transference. Looking at medieval history, my first degree, the driving forces of the liberal/progressive movement is blatantly feudal. The current conservatives are much more in line with the truly liberal, freedom loving, founders of the US calling for individual liberty with minimal government interference.
I'm interested why nothing the current president has tried has much improvement and in many instances made things substantially worse. Why does this 'smartest president' ever fail so much? Not taking responsibility is no solution.
No, my ladies buy their own guns. "Free birth control" is bought by someone else.

Crime Study Debunks Mass Shooting Myths

RE: "Having armed guards at schools will protect students from active shooters - 28% of public schools already employ armed security personal regularly; there is no way for armed guards to sufficiently protect every single one of their students in an event of a mass shooting." Do not let perfection get in the way of accomplishment of the achievable.
When will the anti-religion zealots come after the name of the city? After all, San Diego is Saint James in Spanish.

A&E Declares War on Christian Values

Maybeso Wrote: Dec 20, 2013 10:35 AM
One way of looking at this controversy, Phil has the right to believe and speak as he pleases. A&E has the right to not do business with him. All the fans of Phil's family's show also have the right to not watch A&E and to not support their advertisers. That's just the way it works in a free country. There are consequences, good and bad, for all our actions. Those who don't like Christian values are free, here anyway, to not believe or practice such values, but they are not free to try and stop anyone who does hold and live such values. Those who do not hold with Phil's values are free to not patronize his businesses but that should be as far as it goes. Their bigotry is also apparent.
Well said, Colonel.
