"...there's no real downside in a carbon tax." What incredible nonsense. Not at all used to seeing this level of absurdity on Town Hall.
Fortunately there is absolutely no law that says anyone who is opposed to unionization must remain silent, they retain their right of free speech. TN government officials are not UAW, they are not VW, and so they can say what they want. We all understand that unions would like workers to get only one side, but that's just not the law.

I see hope on this front. in 2012, the gay offense brigade had their lunch handed to them with the Chick-Fil-A kerfuffle and in 2013 it's this Robertson incident. Here's hoping for even more in 2014.

Because Jesus declared that his followers should go and make disciples of ALL nations. His New Testament makes it very clear, through the entire ministry and writings of Paul, that 'ALL' most definitely includes Gentiles.

I'm confused, is Coulter recommending another waste of Republican dollars? When speaking of the Stevens debacle in Alaska she says that the seat was gained by a Democrat to have in perpetuity. Then at the end she says Republicans should focus on taking it back. Which is it, Ms. Coulter ? Was your perpetuity comment just hyperbole ?
Isn't there some kind of journalistic limit regarding self-quotation within a single article?
I could be wrong, but I don't think ABC = Jeopardy. I believe it is independent and syndicated. It is on the NBC carrier in my local area. Blame the show's producers. Much as I despise ABC I don't think this has anything to do with ABC deciding anything.
Following up on Ann's theme, my thoughts always go to the millions in other countries in the America's, whether Mexico or points south, who are NOT trying to come to the US and so presumably trapped in these horrible hell-holes that our illegal aliens are supposedly fleeing. Would they not be better served by having those fleeing Mexico (or wherever) there alongside them working together to make those nations better places for EVERYONE ? How about EXPORTING American values and creating more outposts of freedom and opportunity.
Wonder if Cummings said anything like that when MLK was murdered.
The right wing has only learned well the lessons it has been taught over the decades by the victim lobby left. They've observed the outrage mongers continue to get their way when railing against the most minor perceived slight and see no reason the same tactics cannot be used by their side. Get used to it.

And of course the Russians are using their fossil fuel resources as a hegemonic tool to manipulate the political behavior of its neighbors.
