Obama's fellow revanchist Robert Mugabe decided to get back at everyone who had opposed him or oppressed "the people." While driving out whites and Asians, he managed to rid the country of many professionals and much of the middle class. He ruined the rest. He seized farmland and gave it to supporters who knew nothing about agriculture. In a generation he turned a breadbasket into a basket case wracked by tyranny, political and ethnic violence, and hyperinflation. Stay tuned. Obama has a similar fate in mind for us.

Who, among Obama's mentors, close advisers and Czars have learned anything from the reality you reported? I would add that some white farmers were welcomed from there to Kenya, and have prospered, relatively, with the ability to hire many workers that would, otherwise be as poor as Obama's half brother. 'From each, according to their ability, to each according to their need' has produced hell for millions, yet the closest adviser to Obama has declared that that is her thinking.
While the LSM keeps a lid on these people and their associations, we stand at a brink.
People determined to allow gay marriage, free abortion and birth control pills, and every other important social issue have been used by Obama to get the dreams of his father.

Leftist can't learn. They're still rationalizing the mass murders and catastrophic failures of collectivism, still insisting that it really does work, and it will succeed if it ever gets a proper trial. A century wasted in war and tyranny, more than 100 million dead, countless others enslaved or displaced or broken, and collectivism still hasn't been given a fair shake. We can't teach these people or reason with them or humor them. We can only keep them out of power and away from sharp things.

"LEFTISTS [plural] can't learn. . . ." Sorry.
It’s “game on” for the politics of retaliation.

While campaigning in the swing state of Ohio, President Obama’s supporters began to boo last Friday when he uttered the name “Mitt Romney.”

“No, no, no,” the President shouted, “don’t boo. Vote. Voting is the best revenge…”

Those who support the President’s re-election are to seek revenge on others. That’s quite a directive from the President of the United States, and it is quite a departure from the candidate of four years ago who promised to unite all Americans in the pursuit of higher purposes.

But it is nonetheless an example of...
