Do not trust the mock confessions of mock journalists. Once in a while they try to burnish their own image by insincerely admitting bias or laziness. But they never confess to lying or to suppressing information, and they always go right back to business as usual. Always.

I don't think the point is believing journalists. I think the point is that journalists are Leftists and will try as hard as they can to pervert their purpose from simply reporting the news to effecting social change - particularly to their prefered vision of society.
