Sage Advice, Seawolf, et al., The question I ask every politician when I get a chance is this one: I've misplaced my copy of the Constitution. May I borrow yours for a minute?

That's also a good one Matt....At one of the last political gatherings I attended with my local State Senator, he was in fact handing out pocket copies of the US Constitution. I admit, it impressed me enough that I remembered to vote for him in his rather heated Primary race a couple of months back. He won handily. We have a pretty good crop of Republicans here in the Great State of Texas I will admit.

Good for Texas. North Carolina has its first Republican legislature since the 19th century, and the Democrat waste-of-oxygen governor didn't bother to run for reelection; so things are looking up. In my native state of Vermont, unfortunately, the situation is about as grim as ever.

Matt,

Montana would welcome you, if you ever decide to leave the socialist state of Vermont for the free air of the Republic of Montana. Weather's probably better here though--and we have more cows than people, according to the Farm Bureau. I think we should register our cows to vote though, since the socialist Dems register the dead as a matter of course.

Thanks for your kind offer. Montana is a lovely place, and I enjoy visiting it. Although I'm from Vermont, but I retired down here in N.C. Greater Fayetteville is hotternell, but it has decent barbecue and far fewer socialists per square mile than most places up north. There's some hope for the Green Mountain State, though. Despite its leftist leanings it has no gun laws to speak of. That's not much, but it's a start.

Well, that third sentence would've worked with "although" or "but," so it didn't need both. Sorry. I probably need some more iced tea to raise the ol' caffeine level.

I'm envious. I live here in that liberal bastion of Massachusetts. Though it does appear some have acquired common sense. I'm seeing more signs for Romney and Scott Brown lately. If this state can boot out a few liberal pols, then there's hope for all others (except maybe California - I think they're beyond help at this point).

Dear Comrade Bill,

Did you really think I would write an article that goes to a million readers about a non-existent email? If you want a copy of the email and others like it, you can see this article by education expert Ben DeGrow. There are apparently a lot more just...
