He can do both. The GOP can do both. It appears you have taken a page from Gary North who recently said almost the same thing. Thing is North is wrong. He doesn't think Obama is a Marxist, but he is a Marxist. Anyway, the problem is that those who vote for Obama are criminals or stupid. That is the problem. And yes, Mitt has to find a way to talk with criminals and stupid people. Indeed he does.

Mitt Romney was criticized across the aisle for not specifically mentioning the war in Afghanistan during his acceptance speech at the RNC. He did, however, mention the the military in more general terms:

"His trillion dollar cuts to our military will eliminate hundreds of thousands of jobs, and also put our security at greater risk. ...
