First of all, I don't think you will find to many sympathetic ears to your posts at TH. Second, your thinking as though humans are not also a part of the food chain. We're just at the top of it. Every animal you mention kills something else to live. Third, if eating these animals is so harmful, why does life expectancy continue to rise? Fourth, we're humans. We look for things to do, and fix, and cure. We constantly strive to make life better for ourselves and loved ones, and resent edicts from people like you and the government. Would you resent me forcing you to eat meat? Yes? Then don't attempt to dictate my diet.

We wish each other "peace on earth." Wishing is not enough. We must act on this wish by promoting capitalism on earth.

Too many people (including some religious leaders) are promoting the idea that re-distribution of wealth or “social justice” is the best way to foster peace.
