Mark: LD was making just as much fun of real live racists (like you) as he was progressives (who call non racists bigoted in order to steal their money).

As I posted on Dr. Sowell's page this morning, the possibilities for real justice are almost endless. Sowell stated, "More than 90 percent of the people who are killed on the job are men." The obvious answer is to take a woman out and kill her every time a man is killed on the job.

LD: Mr. Sowell writes, "More than 90 percent of the people who are killed on the job are men." In light of this statistic, it seem only fair that when a man is killed on the job, a women also be taken out and killed. Perhaps we could have 'death panels' set up for the job? Take women volunteers? Anyone have any ideas on how to correct this obvious injustice?

I highly recommend "Recarving Rushmore" for a critical rethinking of the rankings of the Presidents on peace, prosperity and freedom. I even rethought my opinion of Carter, and I never thought badly of Cleveland.

It's only been in the recent past that I have come to the realization that all those stories about rasslin' and rail splittin' and learnin' law by candlelight were just covers to hide the fact his was pretty much a monster. He even appointed monsters to fight his battles. Whereas Lee used tactics, Grant would almost mindlessly throw men and munitions at the enemy to simply overwhelm them. He even bragged about it. Now the progressives running both parties glorify Lincoln on pennies and mountains, saying he preserved the union and freed the slaves, when what he really did was enable the federal government to gain a permanent stranglehold on its' citizens.

Was this essay sarcastic?
The Democrat party has been and still is the racist party. Everything they do is race inspired. Minimum wage? Started to keep black workers out of New Jersey. Affirmative action? Wrong in too many ways to count. Drug laws? Like Steve said, four to one incarcerations of blacks. Great society? Evidence shows (and they knew it) that it KEEPS blacks in poverty. Obama? He was elected overwhelmingly for his skin color. Ku Klux Klan? You guessed it. All Democrats. Slavery? Yep, Democrats. They see everything as racial. I think the thing that p's them off is, that for the most part, we don't see anything as racial. If a person is honest and virtuous, for instance, Clarence Thomas or Condi Rice, as opposed to some scum like Adam Clayton Powell or Al Sharpton, they turn it around and call us the racists because we accept all good people as equals.
YEAH! Forget all that stuff about standing up for freedoms and liberty and believing in a thing just because it's right! Just win the election!
Caronowitz: I would much rather they enforce the one we have. Term limits are really an abridgment of free speech. They sound good in theory, and they might actually work, but it should be up to the voter.
They did!
R.3: But then when we say (I did, anyway) we will not accept another mainstream Republican a la Mitt, or McCain, or a Bush, we are told that any vote that isn't for the top of the Republican ticket is a vote for Obama. I will vote for any guardian of the Constitution. I won't vote for any candidate who is not said guardian. Sure, Mittens would have repealed O-care. Then he would have replaced it with some other crony capitalist abomination.
