It's really good at killing people and breaking things.
My brother once said he was going to use the criteria of knowing the 50 states and their capitals in order to wive. I don't think any of our wives know that there are 50 states. Hell, we have a president that doesn't know there are 50 states. The laughter from the left was incessant when Dan Quayle added an 'e'. We should be playing the 57 states thing on a loop on youtube.

The TH community silence is deafening this morning. Are we all just sucking it up and waiting for the next 2 years and 5 months to pass? Calling my congressperson is pointless. She is Nancy Pelosi light. My one Senator is Harry Ried without the brains and the other is a Rino. Please forgive us Judge, but right now we are feeling a little helpless. I hate political proselytizing (except on TH) but anyone with any moral courage i.e. the Tea Party, is spied on, demonized, and set upon by the IRS. I guess I'll just go into my basement, cling to my guns, and wait for the hammer to fall.
You have just listed the reasons why politicians will never lift the ban: Money. Anyone that doesn't think politicians are raking in tons of dough from the crime business, like the DEA budget, the prison system, all other police, and the criminals themselves is being naive.

I can't decide who's the smartest guy in the room, The Judge or Walter E. Williams.

Gee, what party did those KKK members belong to? I know, we in the Midwest love ending our sentences in prepositions.
Corbett: I'll preface this by saying I have always enjoyed your posts. I am happy to hear Mr. Cruz is eligible for the Presidency. If he runs, he will be the first candidate I will donate to until it hurts. Do you know how one would find out if you were the potential candidate? Do you go knocking on the Supreme Court's door and ask, "Hey, can I be Prez?" Obviously Obama didn't ask.
Because he was born in Canada and lived there the first few years of his life and only one of his parents was a natural born citizen. At the time of his birth, I don't believe his father was a U.S. citizen.
The absolutely most fascinating thing is that all 535 members of Congress, all 9 Supreme Court members and the President swore an oath the preserve, protect and defend the Constitution. I wonder what would happen if we elected a president who took his oath seriously. There hasn't been one that even tried since Harding/Coolidge. I thought Rand Paul might be the answer, but he has demonstrated that he clearly isn't. We really should elect Ted Cruz, but I'm not sure he would pass Constitutional muster.
