Drugs, drinking and driving, rape and murder. We can't stop any of them so let's follow your logic to it's conclusion and legalize it all! We need to at least try to stop things that are wrong or we are no better than the people committing the bad acts.
All laws established by the political system are told to us and are subject to change. The moral laws in the Bible are taught to us and are unwavering. We need to recognize and embrace the difference. We need to embrace God’s word and many of our problems would go away.
Yesterday morning people in church were crying and praying. In church last night people were crying and praying and I suspect in church this morning people are still crying and praying and will be for quite some time. For many of us, this weekend was filled with tears and prayers for people we don’t know. Now is the time to be come together and pray for the families, the first responders, and the community. It was less than 72 hours ago that this horrific mass murder / suicide took place and many of us are already fighting amongst ourselves as if nothing has happened. Please just be quiet and pray or just be quiet if you don’t have a healing message. Now is not the time.
