So we fight them "over there" so we don't have to fight them "over here?" That is stupid.

What Have we Accomplished in Iraq?

Obama actually attempted to leave troops in Iraq longer than the Bush established deadline. Realizing he couldn't do it, he then abided by the Bush deadline. So all of the right wing people blaming Obama for withdrawing troops when he did are actually agreeing with his initial desires for that region and disagreeing with the timetable put in by Bush.

Rand Paul vs Marco Rubio

a) Paul does not want to legalize all drugs. Just lesson the penalties for marijuana possession and push it more to the state level. b) There is nothing isolationist about not wanting to invade and occupy every foreign nation that might be led by a less than admirable human being. Calling Rand Paul an "isolationist" is like calling your neighbor an isolationist for not breaking into your house.

That doesn't mean the military must spend more. Or as much as they currently spend. Our entanglement in the world economy should not be connected to our military spending.

The real way the government cares about people is to put less government into their lives, not more.
Apparently not Republican presidential primary voters.
No, there is always demand. Demand is infinite. We need more supply and more savings. Women value the flexibility that comes with certain responsibilities. Thus, many of them choose a lower salary. Simply writing a law that demands women to be paid the same as men will not fix anything. What it will do is cause women to be laid off and not hired due to government rules that don't take other factors into account.
That's kind of his point. Laws and enforcement can't correct the hearts of the nation's people. Government continued to spend money, kick down doors and throw people in prisons to get people off drugs. But it doesn't work. Resisting drugs and living a morally responsible life doesn't come through actions of the government.
Yes, we must elect someone 7% different than Obama to save the nation! We can't elect someone who wants to cut too much, restore too much liberty and follow too much of the constitution. that would be "extremist."
