By the way, you should review your standards for healthy food--both Capri Sun juice boxes and Oscar Mayer lunchables add substantial amounts of non-natural sugars, notwithstanding the HFCS source, and high fat content of the Lunchables. Yikes! I am glad I am not your son.

Brent: tell me you didn't just do that. Tell me this article is somehow not one big fat red herring. What direct relation does pushing to decrease damaging TV programming have to do with working toward more healthy eating habits? Aren't both worthy efforts independent of one another?
I am a husband and a dad who lives with his family--a minority. Our family is not perfect; in fact we struggle, but we see ourselves as a team where membership is not optional, and the reason for our efforts is to honor Jesus as Lord. Once per week, we have SSN night--Say Something Nice. We each take a turn to make a positive statement about each member of our family, since the rest of the week can be filled with critique from all sources. I physically take my kids to voting stations instead of simply mailing in my ballot. I work hard at a private school with high virtue and moral standards, where hundreds of transformed graduates (hopefully my own kids someday) excel in academics and civics. Small steps can make important differences!
Hi, Friendly Grizzly: I am a born-again, Jesus-following husband and father, working at a large private Christian school in CA. We routinely see non-Christian families applying to our school (more and more these days), with full knowledge of our Christ-based academic program. They apply, in part, because they want their junior high and high school students to spend their remaining school days in a virtuous, civil, wholesome, morally strong environment. The kids LOVE it, and they often come to realize that the basis for these qualities is a foundational relationship with Jesus. They graduate into the world transformed, and charged to excel in their area of academic interest through the ideals they learned while attending our school.

The count may be up to 79 of us now--we CA residents who clearly see the bleak reality, yet keep voting for positive change instead of the damaging change our state ignorantly continues to choose. When will my neighbors and co-workers wake up?! We are hoping the WI message sinks in to a few more minds--maybe the count of CA optimists will break into triple digits! We obviously need your outside support and encouragement for a better CA, a better USA, a better world community. Reporting from the front lines...

Sounds like another good reason to not re-hire our current Crony-in-Chief.
Take your store elsewhere, please.
