You really missed the point. It doesn't matter that some Muslims may be peaceful. They evidently believe the teachings of their religion enough so that they are afraid to speak out against the slaughter of anyone in case they might also be slaughtered. Contrary to what you believe about Christians, the Muslim religion has not changed their beliefs in the past 2,000 years.

As rioting and violence once again erupt across the Muslim world in response to a perceived insult against their Prophet, the usual apologists are taking to the airwaves assuring the public that despite appearances to the contrary, Islam is a religion of peace. No scholar of Islam myself, I can only take these individuals at their word.
