When I lived in California I voted against legalizing gay marriage. Now the Supreme Court is going to decide if the will of the people is constitutional. The issue before the court is not if gay marriage is constitutional, but if the California vote is irrevelant.

Trying to make some sense of your comment - the animals would want revenge for what? That's assuming that animals can grasp the revenge emotion. If you want people to take you seriously, you have to make sense.

Bravo! I don't want to belong to a party that can't decide what their core values are. Diversity, everyone going off in their own direction, does not make us strong. The only problem with conservatives is that they don't know how to sell their message.

It's too bad that some women feel they need to be in combat to validate themselves. The greatest role that women have is to stay at home and nurture their children so that the men in combat don't have to worry about their families. The reason men fight wars is to protect their families and their country. No, women are not the same as men and thank God. Both genders have their own strengths, and yes, weaknesses. A confident woman doesn't feel the need to compete with men. She knows who she is and what she contributes to society.

In Arizona where guns are legal, there are signs in business establishment telling you you cannot bring your gun inside. They should probably add that only the proprietor is allowed to be carry.

It proves the old saying "Those that can, do, and those that can't, teach". If the teachers show they have no respect for themselves, how do they expect others to respect them. Like it or not first impressions do matter.

How many people who were born here and attended our schools don't speak English? Therefore why do we need to speak to Hispanics in Spanish? If they don't speak English they are probably illegal and therefore shouldn't be voting anyway.
