I disagree. I think Dr. Ben Carson is "the great white hope."
That speech has to have some people in America in a quandary. Dr. Ben Carson has been proclaimed as a hero for years during Black History Month, and now he has gone "toe to toe" with the same people's idol.

America lost. Half of America knew it on Election night. It hasn't quite begun to dawn on the other half yet, but it will in time - probably by 2014.
Rance, poor people don't employ people; corporations do. To look to the interests of corporations is also to look to the interests of people who want to be gainfully employed. When Bush was president, the unemployment rate was below 5%. The unemployment rate today is skillfully hidden from the public. It's nowhere near the 7.9% it's reported to be. It's more like 14%. How does attacking corporations help anyone?
Perhaps I'm cynical, but I have the suspician that the government is deliberately ignoring the gun laws that have already been passed, rather than vigorously enforcing them, in an effort to create a public uproar with regard to guns so as to be able to pass the gun ban Leftists want to pass. After succeeding in getting that law passed, it will be vigorously enforced, indeed!
My advice to my grandson was to learn the trade of plumbing or electrician. I figure those trades are as much in demand as any. Of course, he didn't take my advice, but . . .
(Make that "level" in the second line.)
DB07, you beat me to the punch. I was going to point out the same thing - that he didn't understand math beyond the 6th grade lever - by his own admission!!! He said so on the Tonight Show or some other such program. I saw him say it.
No, Michael, it's fear that people like you will take over the government that will try to take over our lives.
What do your comments have to do with the column to which you're supposedly responding?
who, though she was totally opposed to Obama because of his stance on social issues, refused to vote for Romney because of the historic stance Mormons had taken with regard to black people. There may have been a lot of others who rejected him on the basis of Mormon theology and stayed hom. The R.I.N.O.s might keep in mind, as they choose candidates, that the social issues do excite passion, thus getting voters to the polls. Most Americans are STILL center-right.
