I mentioned the "gun free zones". It is hard to talk to them. Some of them believe that you can get rid of all guns and live in peace and harmony. Most recognize that criminals will always have guns. But their point was why do we need such dangerous guns, "assault weapons" as the media says? I mentioned how it's a slippery slope etc. Too many emotions involved. I hate the liberals for using this incident.

While some on the Left have demonized the National Rifle Association on Twitter and other social media platforms (indeed, one “educator” even called for the execution of NRA spokesman Wayne LaPierre) in the days since the unspeakable tragedy at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, a majority of Americans (albeit a slim majority) continue to view the NRA favorably:
