I am not at all surprised about any of this IRS stuff. From the get go, people like us here were suspicious that Obama and administration would use IRS to target us. With healthcare, we worried about being denied healthcare if we were conservatives. That is where we were headed. Too bad none of the low infos I work with are paying attention to any of this...I could have told them "I told you so".

President Obama has just wrapped up a statement from the East Room of the White House about the IRS scandal. He promised to hold responsible parties accountable and has handed over disciplinary duties to Treasury Secretary Jack Lew. Obama announced IRS Acting Commissioner Steven Miller, who knew about IRS targeting in 2011, has resigned after being asked to do so.
