Henry VII - I am at work. I may not see or check reply for a while. How the heck did you tolerate it? I am seriously thinking of quitting my job. At least move out of NYC. I am so in the minority. I am tired of being called racist...I don't even see the kids for what color they are. It is frustrating. MY tiny little minority opinion is really gonna change anything. I have been saying for a long time. I knew Obama would win. There is no way to appease these people. They don't believe America is a good country. And we will never pay these debt top them, and pols have exploited it. I don't even want to tell you who the guest speaker was today - suffice to say he spoke about how poorly blacks were treated in this country in 1940. I s

I did not argue with the tards anymore, but I sure got my point across in the classroom. I didn't do it by bashing the teachers, I just showed the evidence of the earth always in a state of change....man didn't cause it. It's hard to remain in a hostile environment, but arguing with morons doesn't change it....they don't listen, and they dismiss any idea that doesn't comport with theirs. Hang in their mary anne if you can, but if it's gets that hostile, go to a parochial school or a charter school where you have some latitude to teach the truth.

It's just so ingrained. The kids are definitely brainwashed. Thanks...

Get back to me on the idea of a conservative supplement magazine....I have had this idea for a long time.

Forget it Henry. I have to get back to work. maybe be on tonight.....They won't tolerate one comment from someone like me.

And so it begins. We won't see a formal secession of states....we'll see a subtle migration of people to areas of the country where they feel welcomed and among like-minded neighbors. How that ultimately effects the electoral college remains to be seen.

But I wish you all the best, Mary anne24. Life is too short to be faced with such daily unhappiness. Do what's best for you and your family. Here's to you finding happiness in a place that welcomes your intelligence and honesty.

Well ...here's the problem - here in Virginia, in past years, its business-friendly climate brought a lot of jobs from NY, NJ, and elsewhere - followed by their liberal-minded workers, happy to escape where they lived.

So, what used to be Republican country is increasingly "Progressive" - with the result that our quality of life here has badly declined, and will only accelerate as they gain more political power, and implement more and more Progressive regulations and ideas.

As they grow increasingly hostile to business, businesses will again move on, and the cycle will repeat in some other place - what's that bird that takes over other birds' nests, until they befoul them and move on? Same idea ...

In front of the assembly I said lets be proud we live in a country where the rights were wronged...

teachers - black and white - screamed there is still discrimination. I told them all in front of 200 kids....

The kids get it! But they are corrupted!!

I am done. I cannot continue to work as a public school teacher in NYC.

I stick it out as long as I could. I am not going down with this anymore.

Education is already ruined.

What state is seceding again?

MA,
Our social studies class got a weekly supplement mag from the NYTimes featuring such wizards of crappolla like Thomas Friedman. The carefully crafted their propaganda to make it sound like they were being objective. Why couldn't we hook up with the National Review and provide a magazine with articles about our founding principles and the Constitution; teaching students how to connect the dots, and how to watch for propaganda buzz words?

We have to change the dialogue from within, and that includes the schools and the culture; that's exactly how the progs did it for the last 50 years.

I don't see how you can tolerate the double-whammy of being a teacher in NYC - a mostly-liberal occupation, in a very liberal town - somehow, in the past few years, it became acceptable for teachers to be open advocates for their political beliefs - and openly hostile to those who don't share them. Time to move on ...

Pick yourself out a nice state with no teacher's union and don't look back...

Labor Unions have officially killed off the Twinkie. The company that makes the yummy treat announced today they will start to downsize operations (a.k.a. fire people) as a result of a long battle with union workers.

Hostess Brands Inc., the bankrupt maker of Twinkies and Wonder Bread, said it had sought court permission to go out of business after failing to get wage and benefit cuts from thousands of its striking bakery workers.

Hostess said a national strike by members of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union that began last...
