Your brother aside, I don't know anyone who thinks Obama is going to put money in their pocket directly, or otherwise forgive their debt. The fact that conservatives think that most people who voted for Obama are trying to get something is due to the right-wing narrative pushed by Fox News and others, not because it actually reflects reality.

Those people that you cite, who aren't even responsible enough to care for themselves, certainly are not forward looking enough to think they can vote themselves more money. If it were true, they might actually show up at the polls. But sadly, those who could benefit from government programming the most rarely show up to vote.
