The condition cannot be permanent- How can trillion dollar deficits work year after year. If your solution is cut defense and raise taxes - that is not the way. That will create a very weak America. And again, this is what you guys want.

We can easily cut the military and bogus homeland security 80 to 90%. Some taxes are better than others. A finance transactions tax for speculative trades of 1% would be a good thing.
