We need to withdraw fro the UN. Any organization that would have Iran overseeing WOMENS RIGHTS has to be too stupid to exist. Any Muslim nation,to be in that role has got to be insane. I agree, and mourn the passing of a number of things I thought were wonderful. Tops on my list is the sound of a human voice answering the phone when I dial a business, or even a residence. I hate those robot computer canned messages that start out with such a friendly, "Hello" that you think you've got a real live human being on the phone, until you begin to answer and the robot voice continues talking! Much about the good old days I'd really never want to deal with again, wringer washers, ice boxes...but some perfectly sensible things have been murdered by so much technology...and my age is showing here! Our relationship with China has been a problem, in my opinion, since Bill Clinton allowed them to take control of the shipping yard in Long Beach. I know nothing of what checks and balances are or are not in place there, but doesn't it worry you some that China can bring anything they want into this country through their own port in one of the largest cities in our country? And now they own so much of our national debt it's frightening. Of course they're going to insult and intimidate, and Obama will let them!
