I'm sure your article was meant to be witty or entertaining. However, I had to stop when you referred to Melbourne, Florida as a "backwater burg." Have you ever been here? Are you aware there are numerous defense contractors here? You know, the kinds of places where they hire engineers and business folks? Are you aware there are many in Melbourne who make the 40 minute drive to Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on a daily basis for work? You may have heard of these 2 places: NASA and some of the greatest technological advances of our time came out of Kennedy Space Center. On the other side of the river, Delta and Atlas rockets, carrying GPS satellites (so you can watch your DirecTV) and defense satellites...
