The solutions that they give our schools to protect our children is Hide and Hope. They practice drills where the children just quietly hide out in thei classroom and hope the intruder dosen't pick their door to shoot open. We need to arm our school staff or have armed officers on duty at the schools. I work at a school and if an intruder is blasting through the door to where I am, you bet I want to hit him first! Notice they never ask the people who work at the schools what is best. God people it is common sense.

remember in 2000 when Clinton wanted to put armed guards in schools? But the republicans all said no - too much clumsy gov't?

Cass Sunstein advocates that the Government's stealth infiltration should be accomplished by sending covert agents into "chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups." He also proposes that the Government make secret payments to so-called "independent" credible voices to bolster the Government's messaging (on the ground that those who don't believe government sources will be more inclined to listen to those who appear independent while secretly acting on behalf of the Government).

The NRA met with Vice President Biden and the gun violence task force today as part of a series of meetings with key stakeholders in the gun debate. The NRA’s statement about the meeting confirms that that White House was never interested in having an honest, inclusive debate about how to prevent tragedies like Newtown from happening again, but rather, is focused on its “agenda to attack the Second Amendment.”
