What's with the reticence about Rob Portman? Lately here I've seen a few negative comments about him that I just don't understand. That said, I don't think there is a clear choice for VP. My feeling is that folks will turn away from a disaster, but a safe/logical choice doesn't bring much. Remember, this is ultimately just the Veep slot, not the CinC. Romney needs to expend more energy promoting his 'repeal and replace' options for jobs/economy/healthcare than filling this position.

One choice now. Vote Romney (plug your nose if you have to) and (R) Senator(s) in Nov. (preferably with a Tea Party affiliation). It's our only hope. Focus people!

I'm not hearing the rousing support for Romney that is desperately needed yet. Sure, he's weak and flawed, but our only choice. Focus people. It's now or never.
Republicans need to knock off this crap about these distractions (abortion, gay marriage, etc.) and get on board with the real crisis here. Didn't anyone read the paper this morning? Obamacare will kill us. Get Romney elected, gain control of the Senate and pray for reconciliation. Keep p*ssing and moaning about your moral superiority and you will get a country you will not recognize. NOW is the time to prioritize and band together. Deal with those hangups on your own time.

Really, is this necessary? How crass. The man's not been dead a year and you can't find a better way to make your point? Disgusting!
