Really, is this necessary? How crass. The man's not been dead a year and you can't find a better way to make your point? Disgusting!

As long as Republicans are the party preaching morality, the candidate's (and pol's already in place) moral shortcomings are fair game. They cannot have it both ways. This is the hypocrisy that drives many of us Republicans and Independents crazy.
Proof that Kagan was way more involved in Obamacare. Also, she lied during her confirmation hearings. Internal DOJ Email: Kagan Was Brought Into Loop on Mark Levin’s Obamacare Complaint http://cnsnews.com/news/article/internal-doj-email-kagan-was-brought-loop-mark-levin-s-obamacare-complaint

Peg, is this in response to me? What is racist about expecting my husband of 43 yrs. to NOT have secret friendships? Or to be included in, or at least told about, financial decisions of where OUR money is being spent?

DM, I think you are being a bit naive here. He didn't just give money to 'folks', family or a church his wife knew about. We're not dickering about amounts. He specifically kept this "friendship with money-benefits" secret for 13 yrs. Doesn't it beg the question, why is this one different? I would consider this alone a serious violation of trust.

You people really are amazing. Herman Cain has admitted to carrying on a secret "friendship" with this woman, giving her gifts and money for 13 yrs., all behind his wife's back. His defense? "I've given money to lots of friends." Just not this one. This bothers none of you? Seriously, forget the unproven sexual aspect of the affair. Cain is a sneaky, duplicitous, liar who should never be trusted.

What If Ron Paul Goes Third Party

So your idea is to treat Ron Paul with the respect he deserves by not voting for him because that would split off the votes and O would win? Interesting strategy.
Forget it! These folks here are just too dense to get it. Gates WAS a jerk, but once Sgt. Crowley ascertained that he lived there, he should have left the scene. You CANNOT arrest someone for insulting you. It simply does not fall under the category of disorderly conduct.

Sure, Crowley was probably annoyed. So what? He is professionally trained and bound to distance himself from rising to the occasion. He blew it, and all this nonsense is obfuscating that fact. He did not adhere to professional guidelines, and I, for one, could not care less about giving him an opportunity to save face.

Dr. House And Mr. Obama

For those of you who are capable of making rational arguments, not simply spouting false dichotomies, I never said that I bought into Obamacare, only that the US needs healthcare reform.

But then, that's the trouble with trying to engage anyone here at TH who doesn't parrot the author's talking points. It is immediately assumed I am a lefty and that O is my guy. FTR, I am a disgruntled Republican who has voted Libertarian for the last 3 elections and have never voted Dem.

Again, it is the 'screw them' attitude spouted above and basic ignorance of how healthcare (the business) is approached in this country that has led to this need for reform. And for the posters here who think they know better than their physicians what...
