Where Have All the Ladies Gone?

Well - I admit - it makes me uncomfortable to see young women "reclaim" gross words.

Years ago, when my daughter was about 17 or 18, she was in our kitchen with some of her friends, and they were chatting away while I was there. At one point, my daughter said something like, "Oh yeah - she is so pissy..."

Once her friends were gone, I said, "Hon, you are such a classy girl, it just doesn't look right or sound right when you say words like that. Some girls can pull it off and look casual or cool.. but now you - you haven't mastered it....I think you'll looks cooler with your friends if you drop those words altogether...and be a classy lady. I think it'll work better for you that way. Otherwise - you'll have to work at it...
I am now convinced that much of that is in spite of their faith, not because of it - or at least not all of it. Something in the human spirit wants to find the good in what they were given as a religion.

Read those who have studied Islam and critique as honestly as possible. No other faith preaches killing as much as Islam preaches it. http://www.jihadwatch.org is very good.
