I can not understand people that say they like Obama personally. Do they know him personally? I don't, but I don't like what I see of him. I think they say that they like him personally is that they don't want to be considered racists. I don't care. I would vote for Allen West in a heartbeat. If this country wanted a black president, they could have done so much better.

The Democrats may have a problem ever getting another black candidate elected to the Presidency. The moderates who voted for Obama thinking they were doing a 'good thing' won't be fooled again, and that goes to this election also.

My sense is that Michelle is the more authentic of the two. She knows who she is. Barack is an actor who is playing his different parts upon a stage more expansive than he had ever conceived would be his as a young man. In the Obamas' defense, all of our recent presidents have been married to wives who are also fully involved in their husbands' careers, and with the exception of Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, none of our recent presidents have dared reveal to the world their private selves. No one except Michelle knows Barack personally, and I would not except even his daughters from that judgment.

Michelle sat in a racist church for 20 years. No one has asked her if she heard Pastor Wright, with his hate speech and GD America. She allowed a man, who I believe embraces the Marxist Black Liberation Theology, to christen her kids.
My question is about which woman influences Obama's daily choices more, she or Valerie Jarrett?

Obama does indeed have a female problem!

Is Obama a Muslim or a Marxist? Perhaps he is torn between the two, but these are the two identities that he flirts with, and even a slick-talking politician like Barack Hussein cannot reconcile the two divergent philosophies. Michelle knows that she is primarily black, even though she has European blood coursing through her veins, but African-American remains her primary identity. I'm one of those softies who like the Obamas personally -- I've lived all my life as a minority within black majority communities -- but anyone who is not African-American or personally corrupt will vote for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.

Millions of the 'racist' tea party people would have voted for Allen West, and yet he is struggling, financially in his district. I sent some money just as an encouragement, since he is a National Treasure. Romney's way seems his way, to a great degree, and he is as outspokenly honest as Sowell.

Random thoughts on the passing scene:

Not since the days of slavery have there been so many people who feel entitled to what other people have produced as there are in the modern welfare state, whether in Western Europe or on this side of the Atlantic.

Economist Edward Lazear has cut through all of Barack Obama's claims about "creating jobs" with one plain and inescapable fact -- "there hasn't been one day during the entire Obama presidency when as many Americans were working as on the day President Bush left office." Whatever number of jobs were created during the Obama administration, more have...
