I agree with Mr. Shapiro that many Americans still think of Obama as a 'nice' and 'likeable' guy. However, I disagree with him as to why. Or, rather I agree with his reasons, I just don't think he went far enough. Many Americans still like Obama because that is how he is portrayed by the liberal elite media (DPMP) which is where many people still get all of their news. Shapiro is right that Obama is not really very likeable. To his list of negative traits I will add petulant, childish and vengeful. Obama is Eddie Haskel on steroids. But the general public never sees that because the media never allows that to be seen. They cover for him every minute of every day so only smiling, likeable Barack Obama is ever seen by the average American.

A recent poll shows that 85 percent of middle-class Americans believe they're worse off now than they were 10 years ago. Yet shockingly, just 34 percent of those people blame Barack Obama. More Americans blame Congress (62 percent), banks (54 percent), corporations (47 percent), former President George W. Bush (44 percent) and foreign competition (39 percent).
