It should be easy to join and form unions. The government should not make it harder. We have other rights along with the right to own a gun. Conservatives forget about the freedom to assemble, etc. You guys get your panties in a bunch when the government wants you to register your anti-tank weapon, but have them restrict the right to assemble and form groups-like unions-you are all for it!

"It should be easy to join and form unions."

How is a law saying a person cannot be forced to join a union, if they don't want to, "making it harder to join and form unions". If unions are so flippin' wonderful, people should be lined up to join them. They shouldn't need the government to cooerce people into membership they don't want. Freedom of assembly means the freedom not to assemble as well.

"Every American worker deserves the right to freedom of association - and I am concerned that the 26 states that allow forced union membership and dues infringes on these workers' rights," Sen. Paul said  on his website. "Right to work laws ensure that all Americans are given the choice to refrain from joining or paying dues to a union as a condition for employment. Nearly 80 percent...
