First: When DDT was in use in Africa it proved to be very affective in keeping malaria at bay BIG TIME!
Thank you Joanie Mitchell ("mr. farmer, put away your DDT now.....they paved paradise and put up a parking lot" ) Then they banned it, and we insisted that if we don't use it no one can. I recall they weren't allowed to spray the walls of their huts with it (which is very affective) So now we have kids here in America who do "giving projects" and send Mosquito Nets to Africa. They don't work!! They may work for infants, but the nets are forgotten about and it doesn't help the older children. Now malaria is rampant in Africa.
Harvard: If your child was bright enough to get into Chapel Hill, but not Harvard would you force...

This is rattling some feathers and maybe waking up some of the young Jewish students who are in Jewish fraternities. Being in the fraternity is the sum of their participation in their faith. These are the young idealistic innocents who voted for Obama. (my son may have been one of the only ones who DID NOT.) Here is the location of the cartoon.
