The Department of labor contracted a study in 2009 with Consad Research of Pittsburgh to study this very question. That study concluded that all but 5 to 7 cents (per dollar) of the wage gap could be explained by factors other than outright discrimination. The study did not conclude that 5 to 7 cents was caused by discrimination. It could have been caused by discrimination or other hard to identify factors. The important thing is that this study, was commissioned during Obama's Presidency. He knows that at most, gender discrimination in pay is 7 cents per dollar. He was happy to allow the impression that it is 28 cents, when he almost certainly knows otherwise.

Man, that was the quickest route to Godwin's law ever.
This screw up is so monumental, I am reminded of a line from the motion picture "Serenity". "...in certain older civilized cultures, when men failed as entirely as you have, they would throw themselves on their swords."
This is totally unfathomable. We had 2 recent (previously unreported) bomb attacks on the Benghazi consulate. One was by the local guys we hired to provide security. Conditions had deteriorated to the point that the British Consulate, the Red Cross and most other western organizations had pulled out. It was just too dangerous. Still, we maintained security in line with what you might expect in the Bahamas. The reason? Because no one had been killed or injured. Is the State Department filled with loons? The Marine Corp supplies security at a number of Embassy's and consulates around the world; that are less volatile than Benghazi. Why weren't they used to upgrade security at the Benghazi consulate? Heads should roll.

Who May Tax and Spend?

Yes Dr. Williams, taxing and spending Bills originate in the House; but they can't bypass the Senate or President. Attaching a rider as you spoke of is a waste of time so long as Harry Reid kills it in the Senate.
Point 5 really should ,have been a segue into point 6. Education. The majority of blacks attend school in liberal strongholds, dominated by liberal teachers. Despite spending as much or more per student, these schools produce poorly educated students. The liberal establishment, cannot devise a way to well educate blacks, and still propagandize them, so that they will vote Democrat 90 percent of the time. The well educated are more likely to be free thinking and independent. So Democrats keep tweaking their farming methods on sterile ground, hoping something will eventually grow. Rather than adopt proven methods, they abandon each generation of blacks, giving only a few, the tools necessary to succeed.

The DNC in Five Numbers

Hope and change? Yet another 368 thousand abandoned hope in August.
Mathews is just inventing a race controversy, to shore up the black vote. He knows the vote will be close. The Democrats need blacks to vote in the same unprecedented numbers as last election. But the euphoria is gone. Obama has done nothing for blacks in the past 3 and a half years. Nothing like ginning up a race controversy to urge blacks to return to the polls. They tried this with the George Zimmerman thing and failed. This too will fail. Look for further attempts in the next 65 days

Ahh the Democrats. If it weren't for them there would be no Godwin's Law.

Funny, when my wife went to college she spent her time going to class, studying, and holding down a full time job. She had no time to pursue the student's right to free sex, that is so important to Fluke. No, she stayed focused, and chaste. She is currently working on her 3rd master's degree; while still holding a full time job. We have birth control, but it's not getting used much. Sure wish she would hurry and complete that degree.

NOTW-- I've hated that "little trick" ever since Patricia Schroeder of Colorado used to use it every time she was saying some nasty dribble. I think she passed it on to Pelosi. At least Obama is better at it. That psychotic smile of Pelosi, creeps me out every time she uses it.
