Lying Propaganda

One relevant point made by Milton Friedman about people like Moore was that, if the situation was reversed (if, instead of being a socialist in a capitalist society Moore was a capitalist in a socialist society), and he set out to make a movie critical of the socialist system, it would be difficult for him to be able to do so without, at the very least, getting permission from the state. In some countries he would be censored and/or jailed and maybe (eventually) killed. Although it does not guarantee utopia, Capitalism is a necessary (although not sufficient) condition for individual freedom.
