I am disappointed that you declare Vietnam and Iraq wrong when the very anti war sentiment that you defend was a major factor in the failure of both! The millions of death after the United States left Vietnam might indicate that doing what we set out to do would have resulted in a better outcome. The same is true of Iraq. It just seems dishonest to refuse to follow through because of vocal, media driven opposition and then call it a failure of the program.

I believe my civil rights were in question every time a school system hired a minority because of their gender or race when I was more qualified, had more experience and had a proven record of success, but was white and male.

I am one of those who would vote for my own benefits to be cut. I believe, hope, there are a lot of boomer retirees who would vote for the good of the country as opposed to selfish desire. I am very tired of the definition of cuts in the budget being that they increase spending by less than they planned to increase spending.

I just won't sit and be assaulted by the language. About 10 years ago I took my family to NY and saw Billy Crystal in his one man show about his life. I am still saddened by the memory of so many gratuitous F bombs and lost the joy of Billy Crystal. In my mind the language blots out the story. I was brought up with little respect for those who want to fit in at any cost.
