Having the other party in control for a while is good. It presents an opportunity for the country to really see both sides and compare. It also has the added benefit of keeping the out of power party in check with their values.

Charles is correct. Obama and the left are adopting the policies of the right. In some areas they are taking it further. For example the “Einstein” Cyber Shield due to be released by Homeland Security goes far beyond anything Bush proposed. Yet the left doesn't make a peep.

The obvious strategy here is to implement as much liberal policy as they can before some are booted out of office and they lose control.
